Because the Voter Registrar office has not yet converted to electricity or for whatever reason, it takes 10 (ten) business days to get the certification to be able to register anybody. Also, after you get that card in the mail, you then have to go to an office to get the needed forms.
While I've yet not figured out how and where, I've set a goal of registering 50 people before the October 11 deadline. If you are taking part in registration efforts, please feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd be happy to join you.
