President Bush lives in Houston.
After people leave public office they can sometimes change their images by doing nifty non-political things like skydiving at an advanced age or wearing funny socks.
But stuff like this really does not make a bad person somehow become a good person.
As a member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Bush voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Mr. Bush was Vice President under Ronald Reagan and was part of the harm done by Mr. Reagan to American working people and much else in our nation.
Vice President Bush's 1988 Willie Horton ad against Democratic nominee Mike Dukakis was pure racial fear mongering.
President G.H.W. Bush's sanctions against Iraq led to the unnecessary deaths of thousands of children and Iraqis of all ages.
It is a trick and a lie when we are told that bad people and in fact good people instead. We are asked to believe that our history was something that it was not so we'll believe things that are not true.
G.H.W. is not a senior statesman or a fun guy of any kind.
Mr. Bush is a bad man who rose to power doing bad things.
Look up the facts for yourself and act on your behalf and others instead of acting on myths.
