BLOG ABOUT OUR FAILING MONEY-OWNED AMERICAN POLITICAL SYSTEM

Independent-Socialist United States Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont is considering running for President in 2016.

As we consider options to a political system that has brought us endless war, constant surveillance and permanent recession, Senator Sanders merits consideration as we begin to think about the next Presidential election.

Rather than assuming that some frontrunner has things locked up, we need to investigate on our own what are the best options.

RACISM ACROSS THE GENERATIONS IN THE cRUZ AND PAUL CLANS---BAKED INTO THE ESSENCE OF THE TEA PARTY AND LIBERTARIANISM

Texas Senator Ted Cruz's, father Pastor Rafael Cruz, says Black folks don't understand that the minimum wage is bad.

Referencing a recent book by a Black conservative named James Riley, Mr Cruz said the following---

"Jason Riley said in an interview: ‘Did you know before we had minimum wage laws black unemployment and white unemployment were the same? If we increase the minimum wage, black unemployment will skyrocket.’ See, he understands it, but the average black does not."

Rafael's son Senator Ted Cruz is no better.

Senator Cruz makes up stories about The Bronx, says nasty things about gays and maintains that Ted Nugent has useful things to say.

This father-son racism and extremism reminds us of Ron Paul and his son Senator Rand Paul.

Congressman Ron Paul has a long history of association with racists and eye-raising comments over his years in public office and as an advocate of libertarianism.

Senator Rand Paul has said he would have opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act as a federal infringement on the right of private business persons to serve or not serve who they please.

Racism is built into the extremism of Tea Party Republicanism and libertarianism.

Also, it seems that in some cases this racism is passed down across the generations.

RICK PERRY INDICTED FOR ABUSE OF POWER---AN ADDITIONAL  INDICTMENT SHOULD BE FOR STATE-MANDATED RAPE OF FORCED SONOGRAM LAW EVEN AS SOME DEMOCRATS EXCUSE EVERY ABUSE BY THE CLINTONS

Beyond his indictment on two counts of abuse of power, Governor Rick Perry of Texas should be charged and sent to an international tribunal for signing the forced sonogram law which is nothing more than state-mandated rape.

Though how the elite of the Democratic Party can make that case as they coalesce behind the Clintons who backed the Defense of Marriage Act, the law that led to the Hobby Lobby Decision and then also the Iraq War is not clear.

While differences between the two major parties are real and merit consideration, the work of freedom and creating a better everyday culture is up to each of us.

Here are ideas for everyday resistance to our often violent and greedy culture.

TRYING TO WIN OVER BLACK VOTERS WON'T CHANGE RAND PAUL'S HOSTILITY TO THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OR CHANGE THE RACIST HISTORY OF LIBERTARIANISM

Some thought that Kentucky Senator Rand Paul's recent outreach to Black voters at the Urban League Conference in Cincinnati was about Senator Paul looking to win over Black folks for a 2016 Presidential race despite his previously stated hesitation about the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

And this interpretation may well be correct as far is it goes.

But at a deeper level, there is a history of racial ugliness to American Libertarianism and in the record of Senator Paul's father Congressman Ron Paul.

Senator Paul can't erase this longtime racist stench by now claiming he is a friend of the diversity that helps make America a great country.
