Schumer Says People May "Rise Up"-Remind Dem Electeds He Said That When We Actually Do

​One thing I'm going to talk about on the broadcast is the need for millions of people to be on the street.

From Bloomberg News reported in the Spokane Spokesman-Review:

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer predicted Americans will “rise up” if President Donald Trump defies courts that challenge his policies, saying he doesn’t trust Trump’s pledges to abide by judicial rulings.
Schumer was responding to a question on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about a previous comment that any such effort by Trump would require “extraordinary action” by Democrats...If “the public is so, so angry and takes action – and certainly we Democrats will – it will trigger a mass movement from one end of the country to the other, something that we haven’t seen in a very long time,” Schumer said.

Hold Schumer and all Democratic electeds to those words as our crisis deepens. When we hit the streets in mass, there will be a lot of police. When there is " a mass movement from one end of the country to the other..", we''ll be looking to see what elected officials are standing with us and who is calling for police restraint. 

There will be anti-Musk/Trump protests in Houston on April 5th. These protests will be across the nation. Look for protests near you and spread the word. I think this will easily be the biggest day of protests of Musk/Trump's Presidency. 

There are regular local actions that you can take part in. 

There is a protest each Tuesday at Senator John Cornyn's office. This protest, which has been taking place for over years, is 11:30-1, 5300 Memorial Dr 

There is also a new weekly protest every Friday, noon to one, at the Social Security office at 13302 Westheimer. 

You can also organize your own protest or action. 

​There is a lot of trouble ahead. It's not clear what the best path forward is. But I believe that there is a path forward. Let's keep navigating together no matter the challenges in the upcoming weeks and months.
