In 2012, I voted for Green candidate Jill Stein for President.
Living in Texas, it was clear enough Mitt Romney would win the state. So my vote was free. If I'd lived in a contested state, I'd have had a different choice. I don't know what I would have done since I did not have that choice.
I voted Green for President in 2012 because I thought Greens were best on fair wages for hard working people, climate change and threats to our civil liberties from the national security state that Edward Snowden has detailed so well in recent months.

If President Obama will not seriously address economic problems facing working people in this country, and if Hillary Clinton is going to be handed the 2016 Democratic Presidential nomination, then why not look at other options?
There seems more to gain than to lose in such circumstances.
