A TWO TRACK APPROACH IN ONE LIFETIME---CONVENTIONAL POLITICS AND SOMETHING MORE AND BETTER AS WELL

I made a post today on my Blog About Our Failing Money-Owned American Political System about the first Wendy Davis ad for Governor of Texas.

I'm not the biggest fan of Wendy Davis, but I feel that in life we must take a two track approach. 

Above you see a picture I took a few years ago of two train tracks next to each other. 

We can't ignore everyday conventional politics because there are differences between the two parties and because elections do matter.

On the other hand, we have to believe there is something better than our current political system and daily culture & different ways of living and thinking we can consider and make real in the brief span of our lives.  

It is a two track approach that requires thought, compromise, effort and imagination.

Our lives and the lives of others are worth such effort.
