ABOUT MAYA ANGELOU AND NELSON MANDELA---LIFE IS HOPEFUL AND RESISTANCE MATTERS DESPITE THE HATERS

Some of the criticisms of Maya Angelou from the right are the same types of things said after Nelson Mandela died. 

"They liked Fidel Castro." "They supported violence"

...blah..blah...blah. 

The real feature of both Ms. Angelou and Mr. Mandela was the internal discipline to stay the course and not be bitter even though they saw their people treated like dirt. 

Tune out the haters. 

They just unsuccessfully try to delegitimize and mock everything that is decent and kind. 

Life is hopeful.

Here are some ideas and thoughts about everyday resistance to our often violent and money-driven culture.
