DOGS BARK AT ME, BUT I WAS NOT A THREAT

These dogs recently barked at me with great vigor, but I was in no way the enemy or a threat to them in any respect.

Just like how people so often act. 

Sometimes I think the substance of existence is metaphor and that physical things exists just to give form to metaphor.
