We are all individuals living the brief span of our lives in a difficult world.
At the same time, the current political and power structure offers us endless war, toxic food, constant surveillance, an increasingly unlivable climate and lousy wages for hard work.
The way we are living our lives in America has to change.
While some of our leaders and well-connected persons on both sides of the aisle may have good motivations, many more others are just opportunists and sometimes psychopaths.
At the bottom line, we are being sold out from both sides of the conventional political structure.
As our current power structure has weakened the Voting Rights Act and as we now hear serious talk about ending direct election of U.S. Senators, we should feel free to talk about Democratic Socialism and peacefully taking to the streets to advocate for a decent life.
The work of everyday resistance is up to each of us and the work of freedom is up to each of us.
Follow the news of the day and keep aware of the movements of society. Stay hopeful and open to a better way of living.
Work and advocate for freedom everyday.
