FOUR POLITICAL DONATIONS TO BOTH INSIDERS AND OUTSIDERS

I recently made four small political donations for both outsider and insider political campaigns and political parties.  

Here are the donations I made--

1. Bernie Sanders for President. The Sanders campaign offers a better and less corrupt politics & has won young voters in an encouraging sign for the future.

2. Ann Bennett for Harris County Tax Assessor/Collector. Ann won her primary with 61% despite little establishment support & will administer the office with competence and fairness.

3. Ed Gonzalez for Harris County Sheriff. Ed is running an optimistic campaign that discusses both fair-minded everyday law enforcement & also the root causes of crime.

4. The Harris County Green Party. We are not living in a sustainable way in America and our politics are corrupt. The Green Party is a needed and hopeful growing force in our local and national politics.

It takes a mix of outsider and insider to make progress in the current political environment. Good people and good efforts either outside or inside the political process should be recognized and encouraged.
