![]() Today I visited the excellent George Ranch Historical Park in Fort Bend County, Texas. This park is 45 minutes or so from Downtown Houston. The George Ranch features four old time houses that date from the 1830's and 1930's. You can go inside these homes to see how people lived back in those times. Included with this post is a picture I took in one of the houses of a pleasant scene. The ranch also offers a display of cattle roping and there are some other structures such as a blacksmith workshop that you can also explore. The George Ranch Historical Park is good place for the whole family to visit and a good place to learn about the history of Texas. Here is the website of excellent Texas Almanac published by the Texas State Historical Society. Please follow me on Instagram. My user name is Neil_Aquino. Please read all of NeilAquino.com
