Global Voices Is A Hopeful Resource Of Everyday Resistance & Progress---The Work Of Freedom Is Up To Each Of Us

2014 will be a great to year to do the work of freedom. 

The work of freedom is up to each of us. 

All people can take part in or organize a protest, write or call an elected official, talk to friends and family, start a blog, donate money, write a letter to the editor, volunteer for candidates and causes, engage in acts of civil disobedience, and run for public office.

We can also have impact by consistently acting in a way that reflects our best values. Or by working on an artistic or creative effort that expands the range of thought and imagination available in daily life.

A great resource to see how others are taking up the responsibility of moving forward is Global Voices.   

Global Voices reports on citizen-bloggers and photographers, political and social activists often taking great risks and a wide range of individuals and groups working for both societal and personal freedoms.
