HOUSTON RAIN OFFERS METAPHORS TO CONSIDER---EVERYDAY LIFE IS INTERESTING & MERITS THOUGHT AND INTERPRETATION

In this picture I took yesterday in Houston along Buffalo Bayou, we see that the raindrops don't fall under the bridge.

Here are two ways to see this picture---

1. When protected in some way by the care of others, by programs and efforts of government that look out for the common good and by our own hard work and personal effort---We may be protected from the storms of life.

2.  Because all things are connected, the water that does not fall under the bridge will in time flow under the bridge in any case. 

Everyday life and common things are interesting and worthy of thought and interpretation.
