 The Houston/Galveston National Weather Service explained today in a clear brief manner a complex forecast.
You see this explanation above. I like how there is an admission that the forecast so far has not been fully correct and that small things can make a big difference. I like the expectation from the Weather Service that people will be open to an explanation why things have not gone as first thought and the view that they are accountable for mistakes in the forecast. It is good when people who are doing their best in a complicated world ask for the benefit of the doubt from a reasonable public. What more can we do but to do our best?
