IF EVERY FAILURE OF GOVERNMENT SAYS GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WORK, THEN WHAT DOES everyday MISERY AND GREED SAY ABOUT CAPITALISM?

If every mistake by government is proof government does not work, then what does every toxic food product, massive car recall & failure to pay a living wage say about capitalism?

The reflexive and unthinking criticisms we hear so much of about government and collective action, serve no real purpose but to take away our ability to act on behalf of ourselves against greedy and powerful wealthy interests and individuals.     

We've got to get past the idea that we can't discuss capitalism itself as a source of problems of modern America.  

Pope Francis seems plenty comfortable with such discussion.
