A few days ago I watched a rerun of All In The Family that I believe was from 1973.
The premise of the episode was Edith attending her 30th high school reunion.
2015 will mark 30 years since I finished high school.
I watched this episode and realized I've become as old as Archie & Edith Bunker.
When Archie and Edith sing about the good old days of Glen Miller and Herbert Hoover, they'd might as well be singing about my life and the lives of many of my friends.
Our favorite TV shows are often interesting to consider. As actual reality is now often so stupid and unbelievable, a well-done TV show may well be more instructive than much of what passes for reality.
