I'M GLAD WE HAVE LITE RAIL IN HOUSTON---BUT MANY PEOPLE RIDING THE TRAINS ARE SCARY

I took a ride today in this Christmas Houston lite rail train that you see to the left. I hoped it would take me to a magical Christmas village.

I know my official liberal line is to praise public transportation. But honestly the Houston lite rail is often occupied by scary fare jumping people just riding around for who knows why. I've been on it a couple of times when it was like a rolling gang summit.

I voted for the train at the ballot box some years ago and I'm sure it is of benefit to many people.  

But we also have to be truthful about facts that undermine our beliefs and causes.
