![]() The City of Houston Office of Emergency Management wants Houstonians to be ready for hurricanes no matter if they speak Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish or Arabic. I took this picture at the annual Hurricane preparedness expo at the George Brown Convention Center. The books being handed out are about being ready for hurricanes. It is good when things are inclusive and we express care for others. It is good public policy by the City of Houston to look out for all sorts of people and it is good in our own lives to be open to all people.
