It Is Right To Look For Peace & Easy To Hide Behind Anger

I'm all for exploring peace with Iran & for President Obama shaking hands with Raul Castro in Cuba. 

The picture here is of Mr. Obama shaking hands with Mr. Castro. 

Surely the war mongers & war profiteers will still get what they want often enough even if we have a bit more peace.

Looking for peace and understanding other people is tough-minded stuff. 

Anybody can say blustery things & hide behind guns and never -ending hatreds.

It is more difficult, more honorable and more hopeful to look for common points of understanding and to look for peace.

This outlook of looking for peace and understanding wherever it can be found extends to our daily lives. We can try to figure out ways to get along with people who we have found in the past to be frustrating.  

Political leaders may or not have motives to look for peace. But each of us as free and hopeful citizens can look for something better. 

Everything is connected. 

Very many things are very hopeful even if we don't see so at first.
