JUDGE WAPNER WaS THE REAL DEAL

I'm sorry to see the death of Judge Wapner from the original People's Court.

I watched the show all the time years ago. 

The New York Times obituary I link to here says Judge Wapner was respected and had personal quality.  He once was the highest ranking judge in a Los Angeles County court system of over 200 judges. He valued courtesy and respect for the law.  

Judge Wapner was the reality TV star who merited a higher place in public life rather than the current most famous reality TV star. 


It is sad to lose people you respected when you were young. Such losses convey a clear sense of time moving on.
