LIMO, BIG RIG, SHOPPING CART, CAR---DRIVING AROUND AND LOOKING AT THINGS ENHANCES EMPATHY

Here is a picture I took recently of a limo, a big rig, a shopping cart and car here in Houston.

Here are ways that driving around and looking stuff enhances empathy in my life--- 

1. Driving around and looking at stuff allows for understanding of people's different situations in life. 

2. It allows me to communicate to others what I've seen and then benefit from their reactions.

3. It gets me out of the house and offers the hope I'll see something new & interesting.

4. It helps me understand why things are where they are. 

Empathy is a form of resistance in this violent and greedy society. 

You never know when everyday resistance will lead to meaningful change.

The work of freedom and resistance is up to each of us individually and collectively each day.
