LONGTERM RELATIONSHIPS PROVIDE A SENSE OF PERMANENCE THAT FOR A BRIEF TIME PUT OFF DEATH---LET US STAY THE COURSE IN LIFE AS OUR LIVES HAVE TAKEN SHAPE
My marriage, time spent alone and relationships with friends are the most important things & also the best sources of intellectual consideration and optimism in my life. I see valued family as friends as well.
Good longterm relationships give a sense of permanence that for a moment puts off the fact of death.
It has been 36 years since I lived in a place where I had any blood family beyond my parents within 250 miles. My wife & I have for 18 years lived in Houston with no blood relations within 1000 miles.
Life is fun, hopeful and interesting. I like to drive around and walk around and look at things.
Let's stay our course in life as our lives have taken shape.
