I was out and about in Houston a few weeks ago, and found this laminated fortune cookie fortune in the picture above that says "Life is about making some things happen, not waiting for something to happen."
I felt bad for somebody who had used fortune this for encouragement and had lost it in the course of everyday life.
I told myself I would use it hopefully.
