MEDICARE FOR ALL TOWN HALL IN HOUSTON

Here is the candidate forum from the Medicare for All Town Hall at the International Brotherhood of Electircal Workers  hall in Houston today.

They had about 200 folks in the hall when I arrived.

The event was put on by the Bernie Sanders connected Gulf Coast Our Revolution group, Houston Democratic Socialists of America, & Houston Area Progressives.

There was also official representation from the Harris County Democratic Party.

There was a lot of enthusiasm at the event. The values and groups represented at the this town hall are essential to our overall coalition of progress and to the future of the nation.

And on the subject of health care--We've got to oppose Trumpcare each day.

Call your Senator and House member each day regarding Trumpcare. Call them in Washington and at local offices.

Talk to people you know--Including Trump voters. The bill hurts everybody.

Trumpcare does not protect pre-existing conditions. 

Trumpcare is cruel.

Trumpcare will hurt rural America.

Trumpcare is a big tax break for the super rich. 

Fight back against Trumpcare before it is to late.
