NO PITCHES THROWN BUT FULLY COMPLETED---EVERYDAY PEOPLE CAN MAKE THE EFFORT TO UNDERSTAND COMPLEX THINGS

Here is a picture I took a few weeks ago at the Ron Oester Baseball Field in beautiful Cincinnati, Ohio.

Somewhere in existence there is a 7 inning softball game like the one recorded here which took place and is fully completed, but where no runs were scored and no pitches were thrown.

Things and simple and complex. Simplicity and complexity are connected.

A book I've been reading about existence is Our Mathematical Universe by Max Tegmark. It is an accessible book about complex subjects. Despite the title, there is very little math in the book.

I'm a big believer in the idea that everyday people can understand complex things.
