The creative people who died in the December 3 Oakland warehouse fire were looking to find a place where they could meet and create.
These were people who had every reason to be frustrated with our economy and society. Yet they accepted people who were different and looked to offer something hopeful rather than to tear down as a way forward. Today we are at risk of an authoritarian society where union leaders are targeted by name by the likely sexual assaulter Trump. People make choices about who they want to be. Everybody is flawed. But we can all make the call to be constructive and hopeful rather than something else. The New York Times is doing extensive reporting on the fire. Please take some time to read about the fire and the people who died. Please follow me on Instagram. My user name is Neil_Aquino. Please read all of NeilAquino.com. If you've seen a guy walking around Houston with a sign, that possibly was me. Here is my Zazzle store where I sell a few items that have slogans on them from my signs.
