PICTURE OF HOUSTON, TEXAS---EVERYDAY LIFE HAS GREAT VALUE AND FORCES THAT DIMINISH THE VALUE OF EVERYDAY LIFE SHOULD BE RESISTED
Here is a picture I took in Houston a few days ago.
I saw shadows and angles in this picture.
Here are ways that driving around and looking stuff enhances empathy in my life and enhances the quality of my life---
1. Driving around and looking at stuff allows for understanding of people's different situations in life.
2. It allows me to communicate to others what I've seen and then benefit from their reactions.
3. It gets me out of the house and offers the hope I'll see something new & interesting.
4. It helps me understand why things are where they are.
Empathy is a form of resistance to this violent and greedy society.
You never know when everyday resistance will lead to meaningful change.
The work of freedom and resistance is up to each of us individually and collectively each day.
Everyday life is interesting.
Everyday life, everyday relationships and everyday work have a lot of value.
A political and economic system that denies the value of these essential things should be resisted everyday.
