Above are two pictures I took while driving around Houston a few days ago.

On the left is a picture of three different street pavings from over the years in proximity to one another.

On the right are old paved street car tracks rounding the bend on a Houston street.

I saw these things in the Freedman's Town section of Houston.

If you take some time to look around wherever it is you live, you will see interesting things.

Everyday life is interesting and fun.

A few weeks ago, I got diverted off of Dallas into 4th Ward. As much as everyone complains about the potholes in Houston, the average bad pothole is nothing compared to some of thecarters in the roads of 4th ward.

I walked back over there later to take pictures of of it. A lady tried to coax me into her house to show me a painting she wanted to sell.

You manage to find the beauty in everything...

I did notice how bad some of the roads where in that part of town.
