Regarding Facebook and who we encounter in our everyday lives--

As a general matter, I am glad to see what you had for lunch, what cute thing your dog did, what TV show you are watching, how your kid passed the AP exams and that you paid off your car. What is wrong with sharing good things?

Feel free to embellish a bit. Maybe you do have the smartest goldfish on Earth.

Peace to everybody's everyday life. Life is often fun and hopeful. Enjoying life and wanting to share your life with others is not by definition selfishness.

And if you have a challenge in life, share that as well and maybe some people will offer you kindness.
