Everyday individuals have this capacity as well to offer leadership to others, or to go it alone into uncertainty or new territory. 

Like each of us, Sam Houston had many strong qualities and was flawed as well. 

Everyday life has great value and offers full opportunity for brave and imaginative acts of all kind.
