 The Sanders/Clinton divide is like the Star Trek episode where Captain Kirk got divided into two separate bodies in a transporter malfunction.
Each body held a portion of Kirk's personality and essence. It quickly became apparent that the separated halves could not live without one another. I've met many rank and file Sanders and Clinton voters & they are decent folks with 90% shared objectives. The stakes are so high in so many respects now. Hillary and Bernie themselves are not meeting the challenges of the moment by finding paths to working together. We can't oppose Trump, win elections and move ahead without each other. It doesn't have to be unity. But for the moment at least we need cooperation.
