As a public artist in Houston, I believe in doing it yourself, communication, optimism & making use of accessible tools. People are capable of smart and creative things. Yesterday I went to Walgreens and printed up some pictures. I've made a small photo essay of me at the photo machine & of the pictures I had printed. I've got pictures I've taken recently of My Mom as the Exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum and of the Boundless Reflection of Clouds Near the Zika Breeding Tire. I'm not sure yet what I'll do do with the pictures. I might have an impromptu exhibit on a sidewalk, try to sell them or enter a contest. Maybe all three. In any case, we all have the ability to see everyday life in creative, realistic & hopeful ways. We should each use this ability. I've updated my photography page and added a page of my public art here on the website. Please check these things out and thanks for reading NeilAquino.com. Please follow me on Instagram. My user name is Neil_Aquino. Please read all of NeilAquino.com. Please like my artist page on Facebook. If you've seen a guy walking around Houston with a sign about the value of everyday life, that possibly was me.
