Regarding the 50th anniversary of the murder of Martin Luther King today, here are some resources to consider to further your studies of King--
The best collection of King sermons in book form is Strength to Love.
The best audio collection of King sermons is A Knock At Midnight. ( I'm glad to say that the title sermon was recorded in my hometown of Cincinnati.)
The best multi-volume biography of King and the King years are the 3 volumes written by Taylor Branch. (Vanity compels me to relate that I sat behind Taylor Branch at a church in Birmingham where King had spoken.)
A good one volume bio of King is Let The Trumpet Sound by Stephen Oates.
A further book to review is Martin & Malcolm & America: A Dream or a Nightmare by the theologian James Cone.
An excellent place to visit is the King childhood home in Atlanta which is run by the National Park Service.
Here is a gallery of my photography.
Here is a gallery of my public art.
