People are right to be angry about Donald Trump's assertion that women who get an abortion should be punished in some way.
But the thing is that in Texas women getting a constitutionally protected abortion are already subject to the state-mandated rape of the forced sonogram law. We make like Trump is some bizarre alien figure and we are better than him and all that. Yet everyday in Texas we consent with barely a word of objection to the women of our state being humiliated and brutalized by our state laws. Please follow me on Instagram.
