There is great benefit to driving around where you live and looking at things and thinking about things.
Above is a picture I took yesterday as I drove around Houston. It was a bright and sunny hopeful day. All days have value.
As I drove around, I thought about the things I saw, about the people in my life and about how I see various questions and issues in my own life and in public life.
It is simple stuff that moves us forward.
I realize it is so that it can be difficult to find the time to blow around on your own.
I'd urge you though to please find the time if you can.
As complex as our problems in private and public life may be, there is a starting point we can find to see where we live, to find our thoughts and to find patient and hopeful responses to everyday life.
