WE HAVE A RIGHT TO ELECT LIBERALS WHO TALK HONESTLY about racial justice and about the police without threats and INTIMIDATION

We have a right to elect liberal politicians such as New York Mayor Bill deBlasio who speak with a measure of candor about racial justice and about the police, without threats and intimidation from police unions and some individual officers. 

If officers who insist on respect from the public cannot themselves respect elected officials, they are free to quit. 

I keep hearing about whites not rioting in response to the terrible killings of the two New York City police officers 

White conservative anger at everybody but themselves is a ceaseless and permanent riot in American public life.

The killing of the two officers in NYC is an attack on all law abiding citizens. 

The reaction from some NYC police representatives and from the political right that honest talk about racially motivated violence by the police is the cause of attacks on police officers, is a further attack on our freedoms.
