Irresponsible For Elected Democrats To Not View Republican Party As Public Safety Threat

It's irresponsible for elected Democrats in Houston/Harris County to not view the Republican Party as a public safety threat. We should everyday be discussing voting & mobilizing as required to meet the reality of open threats of authoritarian government. Our officials should be leading these discussions, and also listening to and following the leadership of the many rank and file Houston/Harris County who are doing all they can to meet the challenge of today's dangerous politics. There is no public safety without democracy.

The Houston Democracy Project works daily to inspire, organize and strengthen pro-democracy coalitions in Houston and Harris County. The Project will continue through 2024 at the least.
